About the Event Detail Page

This article outlines the Event Detail Page, accessible via the Events List Page and Equipment Detail Page.

How can it help you?

The event detail page elaborates on the specifics of an event's initiating alarm, allows you to comment and communicate with your colleagues about the event, update its status, and view the event's history.

Importantly, by accessing this page, you can view the FFT for the initiating alarm, play an audio recreation of the alarm, and play an audio recreation of the equipment's learning period for comparison. This can give you valuable insight into what caused the alarm.

This same information can also be accessed via both:

  1. Each asset's Activity Tab via the Equipment Detail Page, and
  2. The Alarm Detail Page (here the initiating alarm is distinguished by a Current Event tag (solid red EVT)).

How does it work?

How do I access it?

All users can access the Event Detail Page via the Events List Page. Clicking the event's row will open it. Once opened, it will look similar to the example below.

Events Example

On this page, you can acknowledge the event, update its status, post comments and further investigate the asset's condition at the time of the alarm as mentioned prior.

Communicating with your colleagues in the comments is particularly useful to make plans, speculate potential causes, record the work you do and record what was discovered in response to a notification from the FitMachine system.

Adding comments via this location is ideal for Events. If you choose to add comments via the Alarm Detail Page, please ensure you are commenting on the initiating alarm for that event. If you comment on any other alarm, it will not show up under the Event on the Event Detail Page.

What else should I look at?
