When needing to arrange transportation / shipping for MOVUS equipment, please note the following:
FitMachines
Each FitMachine contains a D-cell battery with sufficient lithium content to classify as CLASS 9 DANGEROUS GOODS and are not permitted on passenger aircraft as check luggage, nor in carry-on luggage.
They can typically be freighted easily via road / sea freight with the addition of a DG Surcharge - please contact your shipping provider for more details.
Please also take care to pack the magnetic mount towards the centre of the package, to prevent magnetic interference and potential damage to nearby packages.
WiFI Gateways
These have no internal battery, there are no restrictions on shipping these.
Please ensure antennas are removed for transport - these can be unscrewed from the main housing.
