This article outlines the Alarm Detail Page, accessible via the Alarms Page.
How can it help you?
The alarm detail page elaborates on the specifics of a particular alarm, allows you to comment and communicate with your colleagues about the alarm, and is where you can update the alarm's status.
Importantly, by accessing this page, you can view the FFT for the alarm, play an audio recreation of the alarm, and play an audio recreation of the equipment's learning period for comparison. These are features otherwise unavailable on the Alarms Page, which can give you valuable insight into what caused the alarm.
This same information can also be accessed via each asset's Activity Tab.
How does it work?
How do I access it?
All users can access the Alarm Detail Page via the Alarms Page. Clicking the alarm's row will open the page. Once opened, it will look similar to the example below.
On this page, you can acknowledge the alarm, update its status, post comments and further investigate the asset's condition at the time of the alarm as mentioned prior. Once the alarm has been acknowledged, it will become a new Event.
Communicating with your colleagues in the comments is particularly useful to make plans, speculate potential causes, record the work you do and record what was discovered in response to a notification from the FitMachine system. An example of how your comments will appear is pictured below.
If you choose to add comments to an event via the Alarm Detail Page, please ensure you are commenting on the initiating alarm for that event. If you comment on any other alarm, it will not show up under the Event on the Event Detail Page. For this reason, we recommend adding comments via the Events List Page.
