To best use our system MOVUS recommends that you:

  • Utilise MOVUS Alerts to ensure deviations in equipment condition are brought to your attention. 
  • Review the Daily Emails you receive to keep an eye on your fleet's overall condition. 
  • Review your equipment once a week to make sure each of your FitMachines are reporting regularly and the data being received is valid.
  • Make use of our Support Platform to search for common issues and learn more about the FitMachine system.

Understanding the role of FitMachine

FitMachine is designed to be used as a hand-raiser.

By monitoring your equipment's condition and using our MOVUS AI to predict equipment failures, FitMachine draws your attention to the equipment that needs it. 

The benefits of our system can be generated across multiple value drivers. For example, FitMachine can allow you to: 

  • Keep an eye on your equipment,
  • Minimise routine inspections,
  • Keep staff out of hazardous areas,
  • Cut unnecessary maintenance trips,
  • Reduce the number of assets going to landfill, and
  • Reduce the amount of power used by equipment

To help you fully reap these benefits, amongst others, recommendations as to how you can get the most out of our system have been provided below. Though some may seem simple, by building these habits into your daily or weekly routines, you and your teams can take the first step in building more effective regimes. 

 

1. Utilise MOVUS Alerts

When your MOVUS account is first created, you are manually subscribed to MOVUS Alerts.

You can receive alerts from MOVUS via email, text, or both! 

Our MOVUS AI will send you these alerts when your equipment is beginning to show a deviation from its normal operating behaviour. Depending on the severity, you with either be sent a yellow advisory or red alert. To learn more about these alerts, click the hyperlinks or simply search 'yellow advisory' or 'red alert' in our support base. 

By utilising MOVUS alerts, you can gain peace of mind that if your equipment is no longer healthy, it will be brought to your attention.

2. Review Daily Emails

Like with MOVUS Alerts, you are manually subscribed to Daily Emails when your MOVUS account is first created.

These emails are designed to help you keep an eye on your fleet. They contain a list of five of your equipment that are in the worst condition, from least to most healthy. By reviewing them, you can quickly check which of your equipment is in poor condition and which might need to be inspected.

3. Review your equipment once a week

Review your equipment once a week using the Dashboard by checking that each of your FitMachines are reporting regularly and the data being received is valid.

Administrators can check when a FitMachine has last sent a sample using the Device Admin Page on the Dashboard. They can use this in conjunction with the battery and WiFi signal strength fields to do some simple troubleshooting.

Use the arrows in the header bar of the List View to sort your equipment by Condition, Degradation, maximum vibration or temperature in order to quickly check the health of your equipment.

 

4. Make use of MOVUS Support
