Customer WiFi Network Requirements

The aim of this article is to ensure that you have your WiFi Network configured correctly to allow the FitMachine to access your network.

If you plan to have your FitMachine achieve connectivity to the MachineCloud via your own WiFi Network (and not via a MOVUS Gateway), the details you will need for setup can be found below:

Wifi Frequencies Supported:

Only 2.4 GHz WiFi networks are currently supported

Authentication Supported:

URLs, Ports and Protocols which need to be open:

If wildcards are not possible, at least:

DNS:

The FitMachine will perform name resolution using the DNS server provided by your network's DHCP server.

DHCP:

Required, to assign FitMachine IP Addresses.

Proxy Configuration:

Not currently supported

If you are unable to configure WiFi via the FitMachine App, you may have an early version of FitMachine on site, which are only capable of connectivity via a MOVUS Gateway.  In this case, please contact our support team for assistance.
